"Hikari-no-taiga"(great river of light) is the largest in Japan with illumination on the water.It expresses a shining light river with a scale of about 8 m in width and about 130 m in length.
優美で繊細な川の流れを演出してきた水上イルミネーションに、渓流からのダイナミックな滝の流れが加わりました。千変万化の川流れを躍動感あふれる演出でお楽しみください。約10分間のプログラムには、四季の移ろいや神秘の自然現象など、想像を超える色合い豊かなシーンを多彩に演出。最先端のコンピューター制御技術を駆使し、美しい音色のBGMに合わせて約640億色の表現が可能な最新LEDで「光の大河」を表現します。様々な変化に富んだ“大自然の美しさ”は、まさに世界を魅了するイルミネーション。雄大な大自然をイメージした鮮麗たる美しい空間が広がります。 （2020年～縦の演出追加）
めまぐるしく色が移り変わる、川の流れのような美しい景色を目の前でお楽しみいただけます。なばなの里の中心にある池で開催されますので、池の周囲広範囲から観ることができます。
特に人気のスポットはチャペル対岸の橋の上です。全国最大の水上イルミネーションをお楽しみください。

Popular viewing place is on the bridge opposite the chapel.
